Possible Woman Foundation International

The Possible Woman® Foundation International, Inc., was founded in 2001 by Linda Wind, CEO of Wind Enterprises® Inc., and granted 501(c) (3) status Spring of 2002. The purpose of the foundation is to support the development of an academic scholarship program for older women in need. The vision of the Possible Woman® Foundation is that educational experiences, combined with strong mentoring, support and information resources, provides women with the opportunity to advance, professionally and personally, in today’s competitive environment.

The vision of the Possible Woman® Foundation International Inc. is to provide education, experience and opportunities for older women in need to create a better world for herself, her family, and the world around her. The Possible Woman® Foundation International believes in the following values: instilling a firm commitment to follow through, operating with honesty and integrity, managing with responsible stewardship, performing as a collaborative, ethical team, and following our mission with compassion for all.

The Possible Woman® Foundation International awarded two scholarships at the Wind Enterprises Appreciation and Award dinner April 19, 2010 at Maggianos Buckhead. These scholarships were funded from the Inaugural Emily Grigsby Scholarship Fund sponsored by Wells Fargo, Kenny’s Great Pies, Kathy Wilson Chu, Susan Ahern, and Diana Sauvigne. In addition, in 2011 PWFI awarded scholarships to five deserving women leaders of tomorrow at their annual award dinner at Maggiano’s – Buckhead.

Since 2001 the Possible Woman® Foundation International has raised over $250,000 for academic scholarships for older women in need returning to school. The new mission includes older women in need pursuing non-traditional roles and occupations, and we inspire women in need who truly are representatives of the leaders of the next generation of women achievers.

The Possible Woman® Foundation International will provide education, experience and opportunities for women to create a better world. The Possible Woman® Foundation International will provide academic scholarships for older women in need returning to school to pursue non-traditional roles and occupations while connecting them with women trailblazers in these industries. Linda Wind is the sole founder of The Possible Woman® Foundation International and the Wind Foundation for Women™, both 501 (c) 3 tax exempt organizations.
